Building a strong vocabulary is key for academic success in middle school, high school, and college. Students with a large vocabulary have better comprehension in challenging reading, write better papers, and perform better on standardized tests.

This program helps students expand vocabulary in two ways. First, students learn a step-by-step strategy for learning new words they encounter and actively incorporating them into their vocabulary. Second, students work through the Word Intelligence vocabulary work book, which teaches students to analyze prefixes, suffixes, and Greek and Latin roots to understand the meanings of unfamiliar words.
