Good comprehension is the key to both reading enjoyment and success in school. Readers with strong comprehension are able to follow story development, recognize main events, and predict outcomes.  They enter into the world of a book, identifying with the characters and creating mental pictures of the story.

How Does This Program Build Comprehension?

In this program, beginning readers focus on understanding stories. As students participate in guided discussions and enrichment activities, they learn to identify with characters, follow story development and make predictions about what will happen next in a story. As a result, your child will enter first grade with strong comprehension.
